Dignity: Voices of Strength and Transformation

Audience

Social service providers, correctional staff, government employees, program directors, women with lived experience in the criminal justice system, holistic and other innovative practitioners who work with women and girls, advocates, researchers and program developers.

Criteria

Proposals are solicited for 90 minute presentations that are hands on, interactive, and feature best practices in women’s service. The presentation time frame will include introductions, presentation material, question and answer session and evaluation. 

1.    Identifying strategies for building and sustaining healthy and safe cultures in confinement settings and community settings serving justice-involved females.
2.    Strengthening awareness and transforming responses to justice-involved females.
3.    Engaging those with lived experience to inform and advance our work to promote dignity and respect.
4.    Introducing research and innovative, promising and evidence-based practices to build individual and organizational capacity.
5.    Creating opportunities for conference participants to reenergize and revitalize.

•    International perspective, promising practices from around the world.

•    Degrees, certifications, awards, honors and authored publications
•    Limit to 100 word count
